Considered as
one of the premier Canine Photographers internationally, John has
20 years experience as a full time Professional Canine Photographer
and has spent all his working life as a professional photographer
working in the Press and Public Relations field.
Over this period John has covered most of the major
canine events and shows in the British Isles providing a comprehensive
service for the canine press and individual exhibitors and also
supplying pictures for books, magazines and exhibitions worldwide.
Over the years John has provided material for the advertising needs
of most of the major companies in the canine world and currently
is responsible for the canine photographic requirements of Pedigree
Masterfoods.
Although John has concentrated on working within
the British Isles, he has worked on commission in Finland, Sweden,
Norway, Thailand and South Korea supplying pictures to multi national
companies and kennel clubs as well as well known kennels and individuals.
Since 1977 together with his wife Joy he has owned,
bred and exhibited Welsh Springer Spaniels and later Sussex Spaniels
under the Weslave affix with considerable success. He has a very
good knowledge of conformation and an insight into the requirements
of owners. John also judges at championship show level and awards
CCs in three breeds and has judged in Sweden, Finland, Norway and
Thailand.
